Misleading Chocolate.

She was always late. A late sleeper, a late riser, a last minute person, she would often show up to things late, and understand things late. She was always late. So it didn't surprise her she would forget to learn how to make chocolate until the very day of the Battler's birthday.

Ah yes yes, here she was up all night learning and trying to master how to make chocolates. This would be her 53rd batch trying to make this work, once she finally tasted a decent chocolate she went to make one more batch just like it for tomorrow, or rather for today. To the heck of it she turned it into cookies, heart shaped cookies.

"It's already 2 in the morning…." she sighed out, her hair getting messy from all the baking. Once she carefully placed the cookies away, she walked up stairs to her bed. Setting her alarm and waiting for the next few hours when she can see Red again.

But of course she forgot to set the time to AM instead of PM.

"AAAAA!!! TWO HOURS LATE NO WAY!" the golden locks was running around her room, throwing on her usual outfit, she didn't really fix her hair and feisty tied it up into a ponytail a few spikes were out considering it wasn't brushed, she grabbed her belt and placed her poke balls in it, she was just about to grab her hat and run out the door.

When she suddenly remembered the cookies. "Oh wow that was a close one" she sighed and calmly placed her hat down and then went to the kitchen taking the cookies out of their case and tossing them into a pick back addressed to Red. With that she started to head out the door holding the bag close to her so it wouldn't fall as she ran.

The bench near the river outside of the Viridian Forest is where they said to meet, for once she wished the boy was late so that he didn't wait for her too long. But luck didn't want that. Instead when she finally saw the bench, she saw The Battler sitting down looking a bit bored. Feeling a little bit guilty she tried to ignore the feeling and go to him.

"Red-san!!"

The black haired male heard the angel like voice and turned hi head, he smiled when he saw the blonde running to him forgetting completely about his boredom. "Yellow! Hey." he stood up as she made it to him panting and bowing down.

"I'm so sorry, I'm late! I did-"

"Ahah it's okay, I'm always late so this should start to even things out." he scratched the back of his neck smiling nervously, Yellow only sweat dropped. Red noticed she was rather tired and motioned her to sit down on the bench, she gladly did so and took a moment to take a breather.

The two engaged small talk, the basic, battling, schedules, work, missions, during the small talk, the champion couldn't help but notice the pink bag she had in her arms carefully held. Though once the blonde to him she thought he was looking somewhere else considering the bag was being held close to her chest. She looked at him nervously hoping he wasn't look where she thought he was. "Red-san?"

"Hm?" he looked at her uneasy expression and then down at the bag, quickly grasping what she was worrying about he held out his hands and tried to explain. "No-no it's not l-like that! I was just looking at the bag is all!"

"Oh" she looked down at the bag and then smiled at Red, she placed it next to her on the opposite of where Red was. "I actually made this for you." the battler saw the shy smile on her face. She gracefully unwrapped the lace, as she placed it down she hadn't notice the wind making it flutter to the ground.

Taking one of the heart shaped cookies, she smiled at the boy and handed it to him. The Battler just stared at it and then smile at the blonde. "Thank you so much Yellow!" she only nodded and smile.

"Go ahead, try one."

Courage waved over the male, he bent his head down and took a bite off the treat, he was half aware of this act which made his cheek slightly turn into a pink rosy color, as for his victim, Yellow felt her cheeks burn the said name red. She sweat dropped as well expecting the boy to take it from her and not bite if while it was still in her hands. "R-red-san…"

He took another bite in the process; getting a part of her fingers damping them, the action sent jolts through out the blonde's body she almost squeaked from his action. The Battler looked up with a childish smile and some melted chocolate on the side of his cheek. "These are delicious~! Thank you Yellow."

The blonde nodded, her cheeks still burning. "I'm glad they are then."  Red noticed her face slightly scarlet, he leaned in almost too close. "Wh-what are you doing?"

His knees where now on the bench as he inspected her face closer. "Your face is red, it's kinda funny, do you have a fever or something?" their noses almost touched which made the blonde hitched her breath.

"No I don't actually… Red-san, ca-can you-"

"Can I what?" the young boy noticed the bag of cookies behind her, he grinned and tried to reach over to grab them, yet semi lost his balance and pushed Yellow back on the bench. "Ah!! S-sorry!"

The bag was in his hands as he used them to struggle himself up, Yellow was much to embarrassed to really notice anything else besides the boy on top of her in a highly awkward position. "No problem.. I gu-"

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY YELLOW YOU PREV!!!"

The two flinched and turn their head to see a fuming Blue and a disgusted looking Green. "In public no less…" the Oak added. Red looked down at Yellow who was still shock to have been caught like this. It didn't really help that her clothes were messy and her hair making the scene just that much more awkward.

Red realizing what they were seeing made his own cheek burn up. "UWAH NO IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!!"
