"She said she won't be here for the next couples months…."

Pearl looked at his best friend, he knew Diamond had loved the young Berlitz, and he knew Diamond had a big heart, as well a fragile one most times. Platina would be going on a trip, in result.

They won't be able to see her for like half a year.

And here the two was, thinking of a way for the two to have a great big memory before she left. Diamond knew Platina hasn't done most summer activities typical families do. He wanted to surprise her, but he just couldn't. Pearl on the other hand had several ideas swarming his head. He then stopped at one.

"hey Dia… no wait, Diamond, I have an idea…" The boy of emotions looked at the Blonde. "Well we just gotta do something that fits you her! Come on follow me!!"

Though Pearl did feel the same with Platina, he feels the need to protect her. However Diamond was his best friend, and he had done many horrid things to him. He feels the need to pay him back. And one of these way to pay him back, is buy letting him have Platina. In the end, as long as Diamond was happy, he was alright.

The next day

The Young Princess Berlitz walked the dirt path. She had almost fallen off Rapidash since she was too deep in thought. She was invited over to Diamond's house before she had to leave the next day.

Her heart raced. She wasn't sure why, her hands couldn't get more anxious. As she made her way to his house, she rang the doorbell and stood straight. Once the door opened she saw Diamond and Pearl greeting her.

After she came in and they talked for a awhile. Pearl decided to put his plan to action and hope for the best. Going to the menu on his phone he made his ringtone sound, and pretended someone was on the other line. He as well shut off his phone in case someone would actually call.

"Awww, Sorry Platina, I t looks like I gotta bail, my dad needs some help." Platina looked highly disappointed. "I'll miss you alright, and remember to have fun on your trip! I'll fine you 1000 million dollars of you don't!" he laughed and said his good byes. Diamond was prettified through it all.

He could barely stutter out a bye. Once the door closed Diamond looked at Platina who was looking around his home.

Fear waved over him, he feared she would judged him for his home. Then again he believed she wasn't that cold. "Little miss, we had something planned for you today…"

The fair young girl gasped with excitement and clasped her hand. "You do? What was it? Are we still doing it now?" she hand leaned in close oblivious to the young boy's discomfort.

He looked at her radiant face, her fair skin and silky hair. He had to look away to stop the blood flooding his cheeks. She seemed to hopeful. He didn't have much of a choice instead to give in. "Y-yeah."  getting up he walked to the kitchen.

Platina wondered if she was going to eat some thing. Hopefully help him make something. She would love to have the experience, yet none of the chiefs lets her in the kitchen in fear she might hurt herself or slow down the process as well they didn't want their little princess doing the dirty work.

Diamond came out the kitchen taking out some ingredients for something. "Uh.. Little Miss, it's out in the back…" Throughout the whole day he was told himself he would call her Platina like Pearl does. But just can't seem to get the nerve to do so. Pearl had told him that he knew about his crush with Platina and wanted to help.

He now thinks that phone call was a fake.

Diamond went out the back and showed Platina the big barrel bowl. Like a mini pool. "W-Would you like to hel-"

"Of course!" her happiness shined a bit too much, Diamond could tell she was excited for this and felt a bit more at ease now. "Okay." he gave a determine stare. Platina looked around the things he had laid out. She still wasn't sure what they were going to do. "L-Little Miss."

"Yes Diamond?" She tilted her head which made Diamond look away from her cuteness she was displaying. "We're going to make Ice Cream." He said. He then went to get the gallons of milk and started to pour them in the barrel bowl. He took a little peak and smiled when he saw the childish giddy smile she displayed.

He told her to help him pour the milk in, and to get a few things from the kitchen. She was a bit almost over eager for this event Diamond had planned out. She felt sort of bad Pearl was missing out yet her own happiness didn't allow her to sulk over it much. Diamond saw her coming in and out with the stuff he wanted her to get, she looked like a child happy to help their parent.

He slightly wondered if she was spoiled by force or by choice.

After awhile Diamond started to follow the steps. "We have to boil it now… huh?" Diamond read the instructions again making sure he has read this correctly. Platina looked at her Rapidash and nodded her head. As Diamond re-read the way to make ice cream Platina had always started a fire underneath the giant bowl.

"Uwah!! L-Little Miss wait!!!" he shoved the bowl out of that and put out the fire. "Ah! I'm sorry Diamond."

"No no, that's fine, actually that's what we needed ahaa.." he looked back at the book and continue to read. "Now we need to stir it!" he went to grab the big wooden spoon and asking Platina if she wanted to help him.

Of course, Diamond did not think this through.

Platina went to grab the spoon getting under him. Diamond was now stirring the ice cream in the making in a way that made it seem like he was embracing the girl from behind. Getting uncomfortable with their positions fast, he tried to think of a way to back off. However he just didn't want to. He had the nose of a blood hound. He caught a whiff of her lavender fragments, she smelled like a nice day at a garden.

A delicate flowery scent you would find at Floruama town. The calm scent made his body more at ease, a part of him wanted to sleep, but he knew he had to keep stirring. "Diamond? When do we stop stirring?"

He snapped back to reality and pulled away from her. "U-uh.. We jut have to freeze it, put it somewhere cold and then we can start eating I- Uwah!! Wait!!!" he saw the Berlitz using her Frosslass to freeze the whole thing. He didn't even have a chance to stop her.

He looked at the ice cream hoping they didn't screw it up. He went to serve a scoop and gave it to Lax. Watching him making sure Platina didn't make this any less edible. After the Munch pokemon was able to hold it down. Diamond started to serve everything, the pokemons, even the wild ones.

All the while he was smiling cheerfully. Platina noticed something about him, despite his age, he was both very mature and somehow childish. As if the fun would always before carefully weighted, yet it was never restricted. He was somehow a balance of both. He was both light and dark. She wondered how that was possible. Or if it even was. Maybe Diamond was a rare breed. She really didn't know.

He finally came up to her, and gave her, her cone. "Li-little Miss…"

He watched her eat the ice cream they had made together. He wondered if she likes it, yet the nerve to ask her had vanished. "Hm?" Diamond got his answer, she was too focus on the ice desert to look at him and answer correctly.

"Ahaha.. never mind." Platina looked at him. All the stirring had made her upper body a bit tired. She as well wanted to feel that warmth he gave out, she wanted to remember the warmth of another human being before she would have to go without it for the next 6 months.

She made a bold move and leaned her body towards Diamond's chest. Diamond's body tensed as he felt her getting close. However he calmed down greatly when he smelled her Lavender fragment. As if her scent was a natural calming spell for him.

Even though now, he could grabbed that nerve to tell her. He knew one day he would be strong enough to grasp it tightly in his grip. But for now, he wouldn't mind eating the too sweet ice treat with her even if with the Girl of Knowlodge was clueless to sense the feelings the Boy of Emotions carried for her.
